Parking at the SCT

The council has recently sold the land behind the theatre which was previously used for parking.

There is now a shortage of parking close to the theatre, however there is ample parking on Mt Barker Road, and behind the shopping centre on the other side of Mt Barker Road. While not ideal, this is a short 2 minute walk from the theatre in a well lit and high foot traffic area.

The road around the theatre is ONE WAY (clockwise around the theatre). The entrance is by the playground car park, and the exit is on the other side of the theatre by the Kindergarten. Do not park on the road along side of the theatre facing the playground, nor in front of the theatre.

Be aware that the volunteer Country Fire Service operates from the rear of the theatre, and it is vital that they have clear access at all times. The Stirling Council is also known to to lurk around at odd times, and they don't have any worries about giving parking tickets to offenders, so be warned!

During the season on performance days, please use the car park behind the shopping centre so as to allow our theatre patrons the use of the front/playground car park.
