Get involved in community theatre!

Unlike professional theatre, companies like the HMC rely on the financial and non-financial support (costumes and time are the biggest two) from members of the community to produce the high quality shows that you see.

For an average show, the Production Team would begin planning for the show 12 months in advance, proposals to the committee, budgets, and the rest of the team are assembled. Auditions are held about 6 months in advance, and rehearsals are often for 12 weeks, 3 times a week leading up to the show.

All of this time is given freely, because we love theatre. We love nothing more than sitting back after a show and thinking of the smiles, laughs and tears from the audience; of the friends we've made and the fun times we've had.

If you think this sounds appealling, please contact us and let us know how you'd like to get involved. We're always looking for patrons and sponsors, volunteers to work backstage, on set construction and costume design, or even new performers.
